It’s been a great year!
Well, we’re almost done with another school year, and it’s been a good one. Our students have been challenged in many ways both academically and spiritually, and they have grown tremendously.
You made a commitment to provide a Christian education for your children at the beginning of this year and I want to commend you. I know it hasn’t always been easy, and many of us have felt pressure to seek an easier alternative. But rest assured, your child’s faith has been strengthened and his understanding of Christ’s love has grown.
This is because we are a Christian school and are able to teach your children in five foundational areas: Bible, Prayer, Creation, Doctrine of Sin, and Salvation.
Only in a Christian school can its teachers truly partner with parents in teaching children about these five areas, which are foundational to their faith.
We are challenged in Deuteronomy 6:7 to teach our children 24/7 about God and His ways, and schools such as ours are able to partner with parents to meet this challenge.
I believe God will honor your commitment to partner with us to train your children and that the blessing they will receive as they continue to mature will make the sacrifices well worth it.
Now, it is time for a break from school, but not from learning about God. As teachers, we are taking a temporary break from our partnership and giving you back your children for you to continue Deuteronomy’s commission during the summer.
As parents, we sometimes want a break too, but we’re always on duty when it comes to raising our children. God has given us the responsibility to provide an education that points to Him and so I want to encourage all of us to keep pressing on.
Keep teaching your precious children, especially in the 5 areas mentioned above.
See you next school year!
